Arriving
When you arrive at Kapolei Marketplace, the best place to park is in the parking lot right in front of our unit (beside BedMart). You’ll notice that everyone is dressed casually (many of us may go to the beach together after church). You may even catch the end of our worship team preparing to lead. There will be coffee and water available when you walk in, and we have food between our 1st and 2nd services as well as between our 2nd and 3rd services.
Worship Service
Our services will start at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am. We’ll begin with a few songs of worship, and you’re welcome to sing along or just listen. Then you’ll hear a message taken from a passage in the Bible aimed at making God’s truths applicable to our daily lives. We’ll end our time together with a few more songs.
What About Keiki?
Kids under 2 are welcome to stay with us in the worship service. There’s a space for them to crawl around in our worship area. If you have keiki ages 2 years through preschool, you can check them in before service at the preschool room when you enter the building. Elementary keiki will stay with you for the opening worship time, and then they’ll be dismissed to line up at the back of the room for their class. They’ll be brought back after the sermon to continue worshipping with us. Our middle and high schoolers stay in the service with us, and they meet together on Friday nights.
Getting Connected
You’ll be given an info card about our church when you walk in. On it you’ll find info about our gathering that day, upcoming events, and easy steps to get connected to our church. One of the best ways to get connected is to download our mobile app called Church Center. If you’re new on Sunday at one of our services, fill out the New Here form on the app and show your phone to one of our greeters in the blue shirts once you’re pau. They’d love to give you a gift as a thank-you for worshipping with us for the first time (a book, a Starbucks gift card, and a letter from our pastor).
